TIPS FOR CREATING YOUR OWN BUTTONS QUICKLY:

          I created the backgrounds for these buttons in Photoshop, then saved each design in three parts, left edge, center, and right edge. Then I ran them through a great free online BUTTON GENERATOR from Advance Software that adds the text in a variety of styles and colors: CLICK HERE. Select "ZEN" buttons to generate most of what you need, but also select "OWN TEXT" and add phrases like Logoff, Add to Cart, Go to Secure Checkout, < Prev, Next >, or any other buttons that are missing from the Zen selection or that you may want to alter the text for. Or you may want to recreate some buttons with wider spaces on either end to accommodate adding arrows or pictures to your buttons.
          The program only seems to work properly if you use Internet Explorer to access it, but even then there are bugs. If your buttons are not sized properly and they have thin 1 pixel borders for example, the program may cut off some edges as it shrinks or expands your design to fit. Even when you get it right it may cut off an end for no good reason, and sometimes I've had to add a 3 pixel edge, usually on the right side, in order to end up with a 1 pixel border. Also, while the end graphics can be as fancy as you want, the center has to be a simple tubular design, with no patterns or variations, or else if won't work. Fuss around with it until you get what you want.
          After you're done you may need to change the filenames for some of the extra buttons you made, and you can add arrows and pictures with your graphics program if you wish. Anyway, the button generator is a great timesaver. So, get busy creating buttons, and be sure to share them with the rest of us too!
